This state-of-the-art portable radio has been specially designed for use in balloons. The station has a modular design so that it can adapt to the needs of each customer. It is fitted with the Funke TRT800H-LCD transponder, certified with EASA Form 1, capable of recording up to 8 different registrations, built-in altimeter, all-mode A, C and S with ADS-B. The unit is fitted with an GPS receiver to supply data for the transponder and thus transmit Mode-S with ADS-B.
The base station is a portable aluminum reinforced case, designed to withstand a hard life. The raised top edge protects equipment and their controls, preventing them from breaking in a high wind landing. Inside we have a high capacity Lithium battery which provides sufficient autonomy for several flights and at the same time is extremely safe due to its internal battery protection and control circuit, preventing over / discharge and short circuit. The universal charger charges the battery when connected to the AC network and supports 100 to 240V AC 50-60Hz, so you can charge the battery in any country without having to worry about the voltage. A colored LED indicates the charge status of the battery. Further, a cigarette lighter with 14V output, USB output to charge external devices and on/off switch complete the box.
